OUR STORY
The brand Ere was created as a new high end value bicycle parts brand with Swiss origins. The company was established by a group of experienced bicycle industry talents that have been responsible for creating the leading products in the bicycle industry for the last 20 years.
Designing and creating products for leading industry companies such as Trek, Specialized, Colnago, Pinarello, Shimano, Sram, Prologo, Selle Italia, Selle San Marco, WTB, Cannondale, Rapha, Oval Concepts, Principe, Koga, Batavus and many more.
After starting the company April 1st 2017 and starting to design, tool and develop the product and support materials, the brand was launched at the beginning of 2018 and first products where shipped in April 2018.
The company focusses on high value products with a great focus on design, technology and innovation, reaching the consumer with specialist product that is tailor made for the right user experience.
THE FOUNDER
ERE is the culmination of a lifetime of bicycle passion, spent both on the bike and in the back channels of the industry steering and leading product development and design.
Founder Piet van der Velde raced on the highest level before moving into product design and management, with a concentration on aerodynamics, performance ergonomics, components and saddle design.
Our mission is to make your next bike ride your best bike ride with product created to enhance and expand your riding experience utilising the finest in materials and engineering, starting with a line of performance road products.
