Meet the team

Ed

Ed, is your man for everything cycling.

A qualified bicycle mechanic and certified bike fitter, Ed lives and breathes cycling, often he will give his time to ride to ensure that you get to ride.

Ed is totally passionate about providing you with the best service and experience possible.  He will do his very best to help in any way possible.

Outside of life at the shop he coaches West Country Triathletes, which he thoroughly enjoys, ‘seeing the athletes grow and improve is amazing, not only do they improve in fitness and technique, they also grow more confident of their ability’. When he is not at the shop, or coaching, he can be found tinkering with classic scooters, cycling, swimming and running.

Ed competed for many years in road cycling, and had some amazing opportunities to compete at national and international events.

A few years ago he found a new passion, Triathlon. Ed says ‘I only intended to do this once, to raise money for cancer research in memory of a very dear friend.  It was an emotional day, as I was thinking of my friend all the way round.  I enjoy triathlon so much, that I will continue for as long as I can’.

Sarah

Sarah supports Ed in so many ways, from keeping him in check.  Tidying up after him (he says he is getting better!). You will often see her at Events and most Saturdays, she is happy to help you in any way she can.  She has supported Ed during his various spells competing in races, and is most definitely the glue that holds Ed together (he most definitely would be lost without her). She looks after all the back office functions, as well as giving Ed a gentle prod when he needs it!
