The new Bianchi Specialissima has arrived, having undergone a complete redesign, Bianchi’s Reparto Corse has pushed the Specialissima further than ever before, evolving it to become the brand’s lightest bike to date: capable of excelling on the flat, conquering the steepest climbs, and providing unrivalled control on the fastest descents.

Building on the legacy of the previous model, the new Specialissima represents a systematic approach to speed, where every component – from the frame to the handlebar – has been recalibrated to maximise performance whilst retaining Bianchi’s Form to Function design language.

It is a bike for serious riders who refuse to compromise, with the new model delivering a 16-watt improvement on its predecessor at 50km/h.

Additional performance highlights include: 

Featherweight Frame: The ultra-premium RC frame is 40 grams lighter than the previous version, whilst maintaining the same level of stiffness, weighing in at just 750g (size 55).

Aerodynamic Fork: The revamped fork offers a 17% increase in aerodynamic efficiency.

Integrated Cockpit: The new integrated handlebar is 25% more aerodynamicand features naturally convergent shifter levers for more ergonomic and aero-efficient hand placement.

D-Shaped Seatpost: The new D-shaped carbon seatpost further enhances the bike’s overall aerodynamic profile.  

Modern Geometry: Based on feedback from Team Bahrain Victorious, Bianchi has retained the same geometry as the previous model whilst optimising the reach and length of the handlebars for improved comfort in an aero position.

Countervail Vibration-Cancelling Technology
True to Bianchi’s performance DNA, the new Specialissima ensures that speed does not come at the cost of control. All the new Specialissima models integrate Countervail technology, featuring a new formula that provides higher vibration-damping capabilities. This delivers maximum comfort and control during high-speed, technical descents whilst maintaining the necessary stiffness for explosive sprints and accelerations.

Reparto Corse Wheelset
To achieve peak performance and robustness on varied terrain, the new ASTM 2 standard-compliant RC 49R carbon wheelset on the Specialissima RC and Pro models features a 49mm profile and 25mm internal width, as well as straight pull spokes, offering added comfort and reduced rolling resistance. The standard Specialissima comes equipped with Bianchi 49mm wheels using J-bend spokes.

For riders seeking an ultra-premium aesthetic, the marquee Specialissima RC model is also available in three totally new designs as part of the Officina Bianchicustomization programme, which provides exemplary, rarefied experiences for riders looking to add a flourish of individuality to their bikes:

Alba: Inspired by phases of sunrise, which sees midnight blue giving way to the red glow of the sun, leading into a clear, bright blue hue.

Archivio Celeste: A blend of Bianchi’s iconic Celeste, with classic tones from the 90s and 00s being layered on a legendary shade dating back to the halcyon days of Fausto Coppi, sanded down for striking effect. 

Nebulosa: A vibrant mix of blue, purple, celeste, and orange shades, evoking deep space and the radiant colors of nebulae.
