It’s here and better than before, the New Bianchi Specialissima, available in Pro, in limited edition Tour de France colours, Reparto Corse or Officina Bianchi Custom options for the ultimate climbing bike, that is faster and more aero than ever, the line between full aero and lightweight has been blurred, years of work have gone into creating a bike that dares to be different, a bike that challenges the status quo, a bike that poses the question; can you have a bike that genuinely does it all, and does not compromise?
Well, we think the New Bianchi Specialissima, may answer that question.
Every single component that makes up the New Bianchi Specialissima has been refined, painstakingly tested using computer modelling, 3D printed mockups, wind tunnel and real world testing. Every piece of data from the research and development has been scrutinised and challenged, to ensure that the Specialissima stands up in the real world, and can prove that all claims are validated, and genuine.
The frameset has not only been made stiffer, lighter, stronger and more compliant, it has been made more aerodynamic than the outgoing Specialissima. Bianchi believe in making changes which deliver results, not to just create another new bike. That’s why the new Specialissima is simply better.
The Fork, Frame and Seatpost on the Specialissima had undergone refinements; which result in the fork having a 17% increase in aerodynamic efficiency, a cleaner more refined one piece cockpit, and a D shaped aero seatpost.
The vibration cancelling benefits of Countervail, developed by Bianchi to absorb road buzz, and harshness is still present in the New Specialissima, helping to ensure comfort and control are still at the heart of a climbing bike, that needs to be stable on even the most challenging and technical descents.
All versions are equipped with the technologies above, and come with carbon wheels as standard. The Reparto Corse RC49 on the Pro, RC and Officine Bianchi models, and the Bianchi B49R on all other models.
New Officina Colourway Options
For riders seeking an ultra-premium aesthetic, the marquee Specialissima RC model is also available in three totally new designs as part of the Officina Bianchi customization programme which provides exemplary, rarefied experiences for riders looking to add a flourish of individuality to their bikes: Alba, Archivio Celeste and Nebulosa.
In addition to those bold new colourways, customers also have the option to adorn their Specialissima RC in Officina Bianchi’s existing Bluemarine Drip, Canova and Miami Drip finishes.

The Specialissima is available in three distinct tiers, each optimised for specific performance levels.
All Specialissima models integrate Countervail technology, featuring a new formula that provides higher vibration damping capabilities.
The new Specialissima is available in sizes 47, 50, 53, 55, 57, and 59 across all three versions.
Specialissima RC
The pinnacle of performance featuring a brand new RC integrated handlebar, and RC 49R wheels with a chopped carbon finish. This is the choice of professional cyclists.
Available in an Antarctica colourway with 2×12-speed SRAM Red AXS and Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset options.
Specialissima Pro
Designed for dedicated racers, this tier features an 850g frame with RC componentry.
Available in Sky Blue, Aurora and Yin & Yang colourways with 2×12-speed SRAM Force AXS and Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset options.
Specialissima
An exceptional entry into the elite world of Bianchi, offering pro-level geometry and performance.
