Bike Fitting

Whether your looking to achieve better performance, reduce discomfort or ride further and faster, a bike fitting can help.

Here are a few tips to get you started.

Making sure the bike is the correct size, is always a good starting point. But how do I know if my bike is the right size?

I’ve got my bike, but I still can’t get comfortable what else can I do?

The first question we would ask, where is the discomfort?

This is always a good place to start as it helps to narrow down where the issue could be coming from. For example, if you get numb hands, then it could be due to the saddle height or setup, the bar height or position.

So I have narrowed down where the issue is, what do I do now?

We recommend changing one thing at a time, the first thing is to take measurements before making any changes, that way you always can go back to the original start point if needed. Make one small adjustment at a time. For example, raising or lowering your saddle height but just a few mm at a time. Why? Well our bodies our surprisingly sensitive to adjustment, and you may miss your perfect bike fit position if you make really dramatic adjustments.

I’ve tried all sorts of things to improve my bike fit comfort, but it’s still uncomfortable, what can I do?
