I can’t make it to your shop during your opening hours, why don’t you open longer or later?
We are always happy to available at your convenience, just give us a call and we can be here for you, at a mutually convenient time.
I need to drop my bike off but can’t make it until after your closed, can you help?
Yes, we are often here in the workshop or bike fitting long after the shop has closed, just drop us a line and we will accommodate your request.
I can buy an item online at a lower price?
Often online retailers charge lower prices, and often make a loss! For us this is not sustainable, and makes absolutely no sense either to you or us in the long term. We have seen those businesses continue to make losses and in some cases go out of business. We are focused on providing customers with the best products, advice and service, and being available to help. We need to ensure our business is sustainable, and can continue to provide a great customer experience.
I came in to see you about a product, you gave me lots of helpful advice, and your time, however I bought it for less elsewhere, and would like you to fit it, can you do this?
We will only fit products bought from us. This is because we will stand by the warranty, and ensure it is fitted to the manufacturers specifications. If your intention is to buy elsewhere, then we recommend that you approach the retailer you intend to buy from for advice. This is so that we can assist customers who value our service.
Do you offer bike sizing?
Yes we do, our bike sizing service is £95, this however is deducted from the cost of any full price bike purchased through Grand Tor Cycling.
Why do you charge for certain services, such as shoe sizing and bike sizing for example?
These services take time, and we need to devote time to you, which means we are not able to complete other tasks. If you buy from us, then we will deduct the cost of the service from the item purchased*. (*discounted products, pre-owned and promotional products are excluded), please ask beforehand.
We have been the victim on several occasions from individuals choosing to exploit our good nature, and seek our advice, with the intention of purchasing goods elsewhere. We kindly ask that you do not do this, as you are depriving genuine customers from receiving the service they deserve from us.
